Scholarship Fund Committee

Committee Charge:
Implement UMAST Scholarship fund and select eligible members who are pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in the field or related field of Public/Urban Administration to be awarded to pursue their higher educational goals.
Committee Objectives:
- Raise a minimum of $3,500 for scholarships
- Organize a successful Golf Tournament with increased participation
- Conduct an aggressive corporate sponsorship campaign
Committee Tasks:
- Oversee the scholarship application, selection, and notification process to membership
- Coordinate with the Membership Committee as a means of increasing awareness, membership, and participation
- Utilize mailing lists of UMAST, TCMA regions 8, 9, and 10, as well as other local associations to participate in Golf Tournament
- Develop a timeline for Golf Tournament to ensure full attendance
- Determine additional fundraising activities
