Community Volunteer Opportunity:

Luminaria Contemporary Arts Festival

Saturday, November 19 12:00 PM til Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 AM


LUMINARIA is looking for volunteers to help with this year's outdoor festival from The Tobin Center to Travis Park. Volunteers will be helping with set up and logistics, directing artists to their correct location, runners for LUMINARIA staff, ensuring the space stays clean and safe with COVID-19 protocols in place, clean up crew, and more! Shifts are open in 2-hour increments beginning at 12:00 PM Saturday November 19 and the last shift is from midnight to 2:00 AM. Sign up to volunteer for Luminaria.

Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon

Sunday, December 4, 5:30-11:00 AM

Not running in this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon & ½ Marathon on Sunday, December 4, but still want to be a part of the action? You can volunteer at the City’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & ½ Marathon Water Station. Volunteers will also receive a race crew t-shirt and backpack, refreshments, free parking, community service hours (if needed), and the satisfaction of helping others and giving back. Volunteers need to be at the City’s water station by 5:30 a.m. and should be finished around 11 a.m.
