Join UMAST

You can join UMAST as an individual member, or as part of a group. If you are already a member, log in here.

Our membership platform allows you to manage your own membership status in one place. Membership dues can now be renewed on a rolling basis rather than per calendar year, so no matter when you join UMAST, you will enjoy the benefits of membership for an entire year.

Group memberships, AKA membership bundles, are still an option. The new procedure for group registration begins with a Bundle Administrator initiating the group membership and paying the dues for the bundle. Please refer to the Bundle Administrator Guide for more information.

Associate / Student membership - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Any person interested in professional development and the advancement of urban public management and not otherwise eligible for full membership. This category includes students enrolled in higher education who are not currently employed in a full time government position. Associate members may not vote or hold office in UMAST elections or serve as committee chairpersons.

Full membership - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Eligibility: any person employed in a professional capacity in a local government including regional councils of governments, public utilities and other urban management agencies which provide services to local communities.

Membership bundle of 05 - $190.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 5 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Register a bundle of 5 memberships and save $10. All bundle members must meet eligibility criteria of the full membership level.

Membership bundle of 10 - $375.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 10 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Register a bundle of 10 memberships and save $25. All bundle members must meet eligibility criteria of the full membership level.

Membership bundle of 15 - $560.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 15 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Register a bundle of 15 memberships and save $40. All bundle members must meet eligibility criteria of the full membership level.
