Elections

The UMAST Board is composed of a President, President-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary. All officer terms begin on January 1 and expire on December 31 of the same year. The President-Elect and Secretary are elected annually by popular vote by the full voting members of the organization. The individuals elected to President-Elect and Secretary will serve a year in those roles and then serve a year in the roles of President and Treasurer, respectively, for the following calendar year. Each board position is a two-year commitment.

Per our by-laws, full (not associate) membership in UMAST is required to hold office, nominate someone for office, and vote in elections. You may nominate only one person for each position.
