Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice

Please join us at the intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos near the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (1310 Guadalupe). Look for a white poster board with the UMAST logo on it.

• Arrival: 8:30 a.m.
• Morning Program: 9 a.m.
• March step off: 10 a.m.
• Post Celebration at Hemisfair: 11 a.m.

March Route

This year, the march will start at the intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos near the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (1310 Guadalupe).

Directions

1. Head east on Guadalupe St.
2. Head North on S. Flores St.
3. Head east on Chavez. 
4. The march will officially end at the Hemisfair parking lot behind the Magik Theatre (420 S Alamo St. SA, TX 78205)

Via Bus Route

VIA Return Bus location for free service back to the Alamodome. 

Parking: FREE at Alamodome Parking Lots B &C (100 Montana St. SA, TX 78203) 

Pickup: Via Bus will be picking up residents from Alamodome Parking Lots B &C (100 Montana St. SA, TX 78203) 

Drop off: Near the start of the parade, Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center (1310 Guadalupe), then residents will need to gather at the intersection of Guadalupe and Brazos to start the march.

Yes We Can Campaign

March participants are encouraged to drop off canned food items at the March to benefit the San Antonio Food Bank through the “Yes We Can/Sí Se Puede” campaign. 

Residents will be able to drop off (preferably) non-perishable food items at various bins that will be located in front of the Guadalupe Theater. They will be placed in visible areas.
