UMAST is partnering with the San Antonio International Airport for the annual Basura Bash hosted by River Aid San Antonio. We will be cleaning up trash along the Salado Creek Tributary.

Meet at the gated Salado Creek entrance off Skyplace Blvd across the street from M7 Aerospace for registration and a safety briefing. Parking is available in the grass along the gravel driveway. Please wear closed toed shoes, gloves (we will have gloves available), and jeans or long pants. Due to the steep slopes, this site is not recommended for small children.
Meeting Point & Parking: Skyplace Blvd access gate to Salado Creek. Across the street from M7 Aerospace (1767 Skyplace Blvd, San Antonio, TX 78216)
Directions: Turn east onto Skyplace Blvd from E. Nakoma Street. Follow Skyplace Blvd for almost 1 mile and the gate will be on your left.
Attire: long pants/jeans, closed toe shoes, and long sleeves. If you have work gloves, please bring them. We will also have work gloves available. Sunscreen and bug repellent is also encouraged. Water will be provided.
All volunteers must complete a liability form prior to participating.
