Join UMAST for River Aid San Antonio's 30th Annual Basura Bash cleaning local tributaries!
UMAST will be partnering with the the San Antonio International Airport to clean up trash along the Salado Creek Tributary and treating our UMAST volunteers to lunch at a local restaurant nearby after clean up.
Volunteers will meet at the gated Salado Creek entrance off of Skyplace Blvd across the street from AIT Aerospace for registration and a safety briefing. Parking is available in the grass along the gravel driveway. Please wear closed toed shoes, gloves (we will have gloves available), and jeans or long pants. Due to the steep slopes, this site is not recommended for small children. Due to the conditions of the trail and waterway, we ask that a parent or guardian accompany all children under the age of 13 at all times.
